Ruling on Continuous Fasting (al-Wisal)

Continuous fasting (al-wisal) is prohibited based on the saying of the Prophet ﷺ: "Do not practice wisal." However, if one insists, he may extend fasting until suhoor. It is considered impermissible by the majority of scholars.
